Honor:

He stared at the victim in derision. Finally he had some story to entertain his bored ears.

‘So, tell me exactly about that night, ‘he asked, playing with his pen, ‘in DETAILS.’

The eyes looked down in embarrassment, unaware of his grin, ‘I am twenty four, a banker. It was our month end party, in a hotel. There I met those three, they were among the invitees. We talked about business and they seemed impressed. The music was disrupting our conversation, so we went to their room. The conversation was on, when I felt something in my drink. Before I could act, the drink did its job and I dozed off. When I got back to my senses, I found myself lying in a bed; naked, my hands tied.’

The voice started breaking, ‘I…..I tried to cover myself with my legs, but they were tied to the bed too. They stood right in front, undressing. I told them I am married and begged, to leave me. But they disregarded to my plea and…’

He offered the victim some water. The grin on his face was replaced, to guilt.

‘They didn’t stop, until they were done, leaving me in pain. Sir! I was bruised, tormented.’ Tears started rolling down the eyes.

‘Look, I sympathize with you. But understand nobody is going to believe you; even our system will support them. You should reconsider.’
