Magic

'There's no such thing as magic Parker dear.'

'Look around Mary Jane, the whole world is infused in magic. You just need to perceive things in that way.'

'And what in the world made you think so?'

'Come closer to me; now hold my hands and close your eyes.'

'Trying to be romantic eh. But there's no need for any magic, for your charm is sufficient.' She smiled closing her eyes.

'Yeah yeah I know that my lady. Now, open your eyes.'

'Okay! here I open them. You better have a wonder ready for.... hoaaa, what's this, Oh no. Please don't leave my hand eeeeeee. 'She closed her eyes back, embracing him tightly.

A thousand feet above the ground, in the air, she now knows; magic does exist.

Bereavement

She lied still on the floor; hurt, shattered. Tears refused to fall back, endlessly flowing from her eyes, narrating a tale of a never ending pain. Slowly, she rose, and moved towards him.

‘NOOOOOO….. No.’ She cried aloud, ‘I cannot take it anymore. Don’t you understand my pain, what I am going through?’ she breathed heavily.

‘You never cared about my emotions; every evening I come from work, my heart looks out for you, it craves for your affection, and you…, you hurt me every time I try come closer to you.
Please understand I cannot live without you; please, please, please, please, please……………’ She broke down, ‘I miss you, please…. please come back to me my love.’

She embraced her late husband’s picture tightly and cried.

Shades of Love

‘Come my love, sit here with me’. He said.
‘You always come here, don’t you?’ she asked.
‘Why not, and it’s our moment today. We have waited months for this and now, I have you; forever.’ He pulled her closer to him.
‘Easy tiger, now when the last obstacle is gone, we have all time to get cozy. By the way, where’s the champagne.’
‘Here, hold this’ he took out the glasses from behind, ‘how can I forget to bring, especially for this moment.’ He filled their glasses.
‘Careful, you spilled on it, what she will think.’ She smiled cunningly.
‘It’s just a grave my dear, the bitch’s gone, for months. Everything that belonged to her is now ours, CHEERS!’
He kissed her lips, over his wife’s grave.
