Love beyond

He kept looking at her; the enchantment remained there on her face. They just got married a day ago and she was gone now. The accident they met, took her away from him; she was all he had. The hospital staff prepared the bride for her final journey. The nurse shook him, but he remained there; motionless, senseless; hurt. Finally, they had to take her for cremation.

A drop of tear finally came of his pierced eyes, ‘I will wait for you dear.’ A promise he made to her, and collapsed.

21 years later –

Destiny finally brought them together. The search, the wait, for years; was over. He was rejoiced looking at her. He called her, but she didn’t respond. He tried to catch her hand, but couldn’t; even after several attempts, he failed.

He never realized, death claimed him too; the same day.

Harmony

Sameer, 'Hey, you heard the news?'

Saahil, 'Yeah! I did. Embrace yourself for more hate theories.'

Sameer, 'The lab reports say that piece was beef. He was guilty,'

Saahil, 'So what, does it give one a right to kill?'

Sameer, 'You are right, but his immoral act instigated that. If something is forbidden due to religious reasons, then why do it?'

Saahil, 'That's the problem, the probe is still on and here you are with your verdict.'

Sameer, 'I am just saying what the evidence say, mate. I will leave now, time for my azaan, see you later.' He smiled.

Saahil, 'Listen, maa is preparing kheer for the pooja, make sure you are there tonight, else you will miss it. Don't blame me then.' He smiled back, embracing him.

The Ambition

She was just eight when she saw the first glimpse of glamour world. She told her mother(referring to t.v.), one day she will shine among the stars, directors' first choice.

She is the superstar, directors' first choice. Every night she visits a new one, to fulfill his cravings. A dream lost; suppressed beneath aspirations and compulsions.
