All love, no bread

________________________________________________

Agatha was a professional stewardess, never let emotions hinder her work; till her gaze fell on Paul.

‘Sir, would you like to have something?’ She walked to him.

‘A minute, please’

‘Ummm! I believe you feel like, bread.’

‘Not a bad idea, how can you say...... so?’ Paul raised his head, only to be lost, in her.

‘Ahan!’ Her voice now sensuous, ‘Coz. I feel like, butter.’

And so, love was kindling in the air.

The fault is always her's:

‘Yo Mathew, see this video trending in too yube, made my day.’

‘And night’ Mathew winked, ‘Wish we were also there, my hands are itching; to get “there”.’

‘Cool it bro, you will get your ‘there’. There’s no dearth of opportunities. Here! While we are looking at Banglore, I just got a feed from bacefook. Man! Delhi is never short with sluts, always ready to strip. And when ogled or touched, they cry foul; feminism and all crap, give me a break. Look at Drishti, so cultured, well dressed & mannered; has she complained any such thing ever, NO.’
‘Yeah man, sister Drishti is so divine; respect! ‘
*DoorBell*
‘I will take that’ Mathew got up to open the door. It was Drishti. What surprised him was her teary face, ‘What’s the matter sis. Hey Sattvik, come here.’

‘Why, what’s the matter?’ He rushed; the one who was most dear to him, broke on his shoulders.

Sattvik caressed her hairs, till she calmed, ‘Now tell me, what happened?’ He asked.

‘Please brother, don’t be angry at me. It wasn’t my fault; I was coming straight to our house, from music classes. I was in the auto, suddenly a guy from nowhere got on the auto. Before I could say anything…….’her eyes were again wet, ‘he grabbed me……he t…….touched me......everywhere.' She covered her face, 'I feel sickened, I am not able to figure where I went wrong. I always followed mother’s instructions carefully, never talked to any stranger, then why?’ Her tears didn’t stop.

‘No, you weren’t, else why that man misbehaved with you. Definitely you must have hinted him. No more music classes from tomorrow, you will stay in home, till I find a suitable boy for you.’

‘But mother, what’s her fault here. She nev.. .’

‘I don’t want any arguments Sattvik.’ She took Drishti with her.

Sattvik and Mathew looked at each other in dismay, trying to reason what went wrong; the education, the mindset, or the whole society that led him create such picture of feminine in his mind. Their gaze turned to the Banglore stills, the perception now changed.
