A Nightmare and a Dream

‘Adios! You freak.’ With a thrust, she pushed him from behind.

He kept falling in the abyss, 'O God! Let this be a dream.' He closed his eyes tightly.

'What happened, honey?' She woke him up.

'Oh thank God!' he was sweating, 'again that nightmare; a woman pushed me from behind and I am falling endlessly in the abyss.'

'Oh! May be this time, its actual.' A mystical smile appeared on her face.

The room was warm, but he was feeling cold. Everything started getting hazy. He rubbed his eyes and opened them back. The nightmare was real; the fall was real. He saw her up there, but was now late for any dismay.

'His nightmare turned out to be a good idea. Good bye, you loser.' She laughed.

Love me, like no one ever has

Lost in her merriment, she was preparing the cake to celebrate their second anniversary.

‘Hey, I want to talk to you.’ He arrived.

‘What is it dear, you seem unpleasant.’ The joy on her face disappeared.

‘Look, I cannot do this anymore. This ain’t going like I thought it would. Here, this is for you.’ He handed her a paper, rolled.

‘What’s this, and why today?’ Her eyes displayed her uneasiness. With trembling hands, she took the roll and opened it.

Her pupils widened reading the matter.
‘Honey! I LOVE YOU. I can't and won’t be able to do it without you; as with you, I can achieve the unachievable.’ Tears rolled down her cheeks, ‘this ain’t working the way I thought, in fact, this all is beyond my expectations as you, complete me. So, here I kneel down for asking your hand again. And this time, for eternity.’

She moved the roll aside; he was on his knees, ‘What say gorgeous.’

‘Yes, for every breath and birth I will take, YES. Now come here you son of a devil.’

Fidelity

‘Mmmm.... Martha, ain’t I love that rosy smell. Not even a minute goes by ,when I am not immersed in your thoughts.’ Rahul kept holding her from backside.

‘From seconds to minutes haan! You've got meaner.’ She gave a naughty smile.

‘Now, come closer and let me savor these strawberries’ he locked his lips to her’s. They were engrossed in each other, love bug took them all over.

It was a routine for Martin to watch them. What else a paralyzed husband could do about it.

Highway Blues

She was riding on the deserted highway aimlessly. The moonless night was getting dark and dense with every passing hour. The visibility was zero apart from the vision of the bike’s light.
A shadow, walking dead slow, disturbed her momentum. She honked; no response, she yelled; again, silent. Irritated, she got off the bike and went near, ‘you maniac, if you wanna crawl then do that on the sideways, not on the middle of the road. Now MOVE.’
The shadow turned to her, ‘Oh! I am sorry, just trying to find my body, I died here last month, can you help me find it?’ A shrewd smile appeared on his face, his eyes turned bloody ‘come to me dear.’ He emitted a loud scream. Shocked, she collapsed on the road.
‘And cut it. Excellent shot Rahil ji. Athiya, your collapse was damn natural.’ Director yelled, ‘Now pack up fast guys. This place is really spooky.’
‘Come on Athiya, stand up, good shot it was’ Rahil shook her shoulder ‘get up lady’.
She opened her eyes, to his horror; they had turn carbon black. She caught hold of his hand ‘the road to real horror starts here. Ha ha ha…..’ Her laughter amplified in a loud scream.

Magic

'There's no such thing as magic Parker dear.'

'Look around Mary Jane, the whole world is infused in magic. You just need to perceive things in that way.'

'And what in the world made you think so?'

'Come closer to me; now hold my hands and close your eyes.'

'Trying to be romantic eh. But there's no need for any magic, for your charm is sufficient.' She smiled closing her eyes.

'Yeah yeah I know that my lady. Now, open your eyes.'

'Okay! here I open them. You better have a wonder ready for.... hoaaa, what's this, Oh no. Please don't leave my hand eeeeeee. 'She closed her eyes back, embracing him tightly.

A thousand feet above the ground, in the air, she now knows; magic does exist.

Bereavement

She lied still on the floor; hurt, shattered. Tears refused to fall back, endlessly flowing from her eyes, narrating a tale of a never ending pain. Slowly, she rose, and moved towards him.

‘NOOOOOO….. No.’ She cried aloud, ‘I cannot take it anymore. Don’t you understand my pain, what I am going through?’ she breathed heavily.

‘You never cared about my emotions; every evening I come from work, my heart looks out for you, it craves for your affection, and you…, you hurt me every time I try come closer to you.
Please understand I cannot live without you; please, please, please, please, please……………’ She broke down, ‘I miss you, please…. please come back to me my love.’

She embraced her late husband’s picture tightly and cried.

Shades of Love

‘Come my love, sit here with me’. He said.
‘You always come here, don’t you?’ she asked.
‘Why not, and it’s our moment today. We have waited months for this and now, I have you; forever.’ He pulled her closer to him.
‘Easy tiger, now when the last obstacle is gone, we have all time to get cozy. By the way, where’s the champagne.’
‘Here, hold this’ he took out the glasses from behind, ‘how can I forget to bring, especially for this moment.’ He filled their glasses.
‘Careful, you spilled on it, what she will think.’ She smiled cunningly.
‘It’s just a grave my dear, the bitch’s gone, for months. Everything that belonged to her is now ours, CHEERS!’
He kissed her lips, over his wife’s grave.
